What a location! Lovely job restoring the gable of this Dorset cottage with chalk lime mortars to help remedy internal rising damp. All cement removed and replaced with traditional chalk lime mortar (and flint this time instead of concrete infill 😊😂) as well as sealing all holes and flush pointing to increase evaporation, keep the damp out and conserve the masonry. A french drain was also installed to help take away any standing water
